Enjoy a nature drive in Damaraland. You might even be so lucky to spot the elusive and rare Desert Adapted Elephants! These elephants are slightly smaller compared to the Elephants you find in National Parks, and can cover extremely large distances. Depending on the rainy season, they can be spotted roaming the Ugab River. Sightings cannot be guaranteed, but if there is one place in Namibia to spot these impressive giants, it is here.

Rise and shine, you are getting up at first light to be in the Namib Desert during the cool and beautiful morning hours! First stop: Dune 45. Hiking up this dune can be daunting when standing at the bottom, but it is absolutely worth is when you get to the top. You don't even have to go all the way up, the view of the glistering dunes and salt pans is unforgettable from halfway as well. 

After this sporty start, you drive deeper into the desert. Keep your eyes peeled to spot Gemsbok (also known as Oryx) along the way, perhaps the most beautiful antelope of Southern Africa and a photographer's dream! A 4x4 trail and another short hike leads you to the Deadvlei: a dried out pan with dark ancient dead tries that stick out against the white pan and the bright orange dunes around it. Here you will feel like you are in a surrealistic dream, or a painting from Dali!

Going on a game drive in Etosha is an experience to never forget. Vast, open plains as far as the eye can see, with in the middle a massive salt pan. This lack of vegetation and water makes it very easy to spot wildlife! Big game is often seen at the waterholes, and there is no chance you can miss the iconic outline of an elephant on the horizon.

Ga op expeditie naar de Ntwetwe Pans, met een bezoek aan een stokstaartjeskolonie. Het duurt ongeveer 1,5 tot 2 uur om er te komen. Een 4x4 route, die misschien een beetje hobbelig is, voert je door landerijen die overgaan van dicht struikgewas naar meer open gebieden. Als eerste: ontmoet de stokstaartjes! Deze schattige dieren zijn volledig wild, maar redelijk gewend aan mensen omdat ze dagelijks in de gaten worden gehouden door lokale 'meetkat-gidsen'. U kunt ze van dichtbij bekijken voor het perfecte fotomoment. Wie weet heb je wel het geluk dat een van de stokstaartjes jou gebruikt als uitkijkpunt om hogerop te komen en potentiële bedreigingen zoals adelaars en jakhalzen te spotten, geloof het of niet, het kan gebeuren! Nadat je wat tijd hebt doorgebracht met je schattige nieuwe vrienden, geniet je van een picknick ontbijt, en dan ga je naar de Ntwetwe Pans waar je meer leert over de natuurlijke geschiedenis van Botswana, en gewoon geniet van de boeiende uitzichten. Een hobbelige rit terug naar het kamp waar een warme lunch en een koud drankje op u wachten. Een goed bestede ochtend!
